Entering his third season as head coach after two years as an assistant, Coach Josh prioritizes the interpersonal growth of the team as ballplayers, teammates, and members of the A's organization. His players know his two non-negotiables, "focus and effort," and feel supported in taking on-field risks that lead to athletic and personal growth, increased self-confidence, and self-reflection. Through meaningful, high-paced practice reps, players learn the value of hard work and delayed gratification when those efforts turn into enhanced performance in games. The team plays a mix of overnight and local tournaments and will return to league play to supplement development in 2nd and 3rd positions. On-field highlights from the past season include two tournament wins, one tournament runner-up, and a victory over a Top 25 team in the state.
