13U Myers

Coach Kurtis Myers has coached this group since they were 8U, watching them grow from young players learning the fundamentals into competitive athletes competing at a high level and earning recognition as a top 10 ranked team in TBR. As a former college athlete, Myers understands the commitment, discipline, competitiveness, and work ethic required to perform at a high level. His goal is not only to develop baseball players who understand how to play the game the right way, but to develop athletes first—teaching them how to compete, prepare, work as a team, overcome adversity, and hold themselves accountable. Most importantly, Myers believes in developing good people and using baseball to teach character, leadership, responsibility, and respect. As the players transition toward high school and beyond, his focus is preparing them both physically and mentally for the next level while helping each player reach his full potential on the field and in life.
